Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions accurately.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs and responses.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to therapy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification (approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists)
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution, with a specialization in psychiatry.
  • Completion of a residency program in psychiatry, ensuring hands-on experience in diverse clinical settings.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, ideally in outpatient, inpatient, or community settings.
  • Board certification in psychiatry, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with patients, enhancing therapeutic relationships.
